Description

Warm, creamy, and utterly satisfying, this Comforting Chicken and Stuffing Casserole is perfect for cozy dinners or unexpected gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 box chicken stuffing mix (approx. 6 oz)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the boneless chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them flat at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chicken stuffing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Stir in the diced onion and celery until well mixed.
  4. Pour the stuffing mixture evenly over the seasoned chicken breasts, ensuring every piece is covered.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top of the casserole.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving to allow flavors to meld.
