Description

Indulge in this rich and creamy Garlic Steak Tortellini, featuring tender steak and flavorful tortellini—perfect for cozy dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fresh or frozen cheese-filled tortellini
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye, seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions until they float (approximately 3-5 minutes for fresh).
  2. Sear the Steak: Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the pan and let it rest before slicing.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet with leftover drippings, melt another tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Create the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream while stirring constantly. Let it simmer gently for about two minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Combine Everything: Slice the rested steak into strips and add it along with cooked tortellini into the creamy sauce. Gently toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Serve with Flair: Plate the dish and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked pepper if desired.
