Instructions

- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface until smooth.
- In a bowl, combine ground cinnamon and brown sugar; mix well.
- Spread melted butter over the rolled-out pastry, then evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Tightly roll the pastry into a log shape from one end.
- Cut the log into even pieces about 1 inch thick and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Brush this mixture over each cinnamon roll for a golden finish.
