Description

Irresistible Blackened Steak Shrimp Alfredo is a creamy, flavor-packed dish featuring tender steak and succulent shrimp, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp blackening spice (paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, thyme)
  • 1 lb large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz fettuccine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the steak generously with blackening spice.
  2. Heat a skillet over high heat with olive oil until shimmering hot.
  3. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side until a blackened crust forms. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add shrimp and sauté until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  7. Reduce heat to medium-low in the skillet and pour in heavy cream.
  8. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth; add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  9. Toss in cooked fettuccine, sliced steak, and shrimp until well combined.
