Description

Welcome the new year with a vibrant Seafood New Year’s Dinner, featuring succulent shrimp, tender scallops, and luxurious lobster in a buttery garlic sauce that will impress your guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb dry-packed scallops
  • 2 lobster tails, live or frozen
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Rinse shrimp and scallops under cold water. If using lobster tails, cut them down the middle with kitchen shears.
  2. Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook Shrimp & Scallops: Add shrimp and scallops to the skillet. Sauté for about three minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Add Lobster: Carefully add lobster tails to the skillet. Pour in lemon juice and cover with a lid. Let everything simmer together for approximately five minutes.
  5. Finishing Touches: Remove the lid, sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the seafood medley, and give it a final toss before removing from heat.
  6. Serve & Enjoy: Transfer to plates and serve with crusty bread on the side to soak up the buttery goodness. Drizzle with extra lemon juice if desired.
