Ingredients

  • 4 fresh tangerines (juiced)
  • 2 fresh lemons (juiced)
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups filtered water

Instructions

  1. Wash the tangerines and lemons thoroughly. Cut them in half and juice into a measuring cup using a manual or electric juicer.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water with sugar (or honey) over medium heat. Stir until dissolved completely.
  3. Once the sugar mixture is cooled, pour in the freshly squeezed tangerine and lemon juice. Stir well.
  4. Mix in an additional 3 cups of cold water. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
  5. Add chopped mint leaves into the pitcher and refrigerate for at least an hour to let flavors meld.
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in your refreshing lemonade, and garnish with extra mint or a slice of tangerine, if desired.
