  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Gently fold together until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Optionally glaze with a simple mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
