Instructions

- In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about three minutes).
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough, roll into balls, and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Create an indentation in each cookie ball with your thumb and fill generously with strawberry jam.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- While cookies cool on a wire rack, mix powdered sugar with milk until desired consistency is reached.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled cookies; let it set before serving.
