Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, lemon juice, and zest.
- Beat until perfectly smooth.
- Pour this mixture into the cooled crust and smooth it out with a spatula.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until set around the edges but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Allow the pie to cool to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for at least two hours.
- Before serving, spread whipped topping over the chilled lemon filling and garnish with lemon slices or zest if desired.
