  • 8 slices thick brioche or challah bread

Instructions

  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture briefly on both sides until well-coated but not soaked through.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter until melted.
  5. Cook dipped bread slices in the skillet until golden brown on both sides—about 3–4 minutes per side.
  6. Spread generous amounts of raspberry-mascarpone filling between two slices or stack them.
