  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese
  • Sour cream (to taste)
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1. Brown the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
  2. 2. Mix in Seasoning: Add taco seasoning and diced tomatoes (including juices) to the meat. Stir well to combine.
  3. 3. Add Cream Cheese: Cube the cream cheese and mix it into the meat and tomato mixture until evenly distributed.
