Description

Irresistible Chicken Parmesan Pasta is a delightful dish featuring tender chicken, rich marinara sauce, and gooey cheese, perfect for family gatherings or comforting weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 12 oz penne or fusilli pasta
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add seasoned chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.
  3. In a pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving one cup of pasta water.
  4. In the same skillet used for chicken, add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant. Pour in marinara sauce and add reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet; stir until well-coated with sauce.
  6. Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Serve hot from the oven, drizzled with extra marinara sauce.
