- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
- 1 Italian bread loaf
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Let rest before shredding.
- In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and chives. Stir until well mixed.
- Slice the Italian bread loaf lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
- Hollow out some of the insides to create space for the filling.
- Spoon the chicken mixture into the hollowed-out loaf generously.
- Place in the prepared baking dish and cover loosely with foil. Bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
