Description

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 Italian bread loaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Let rest before shredding.
  3. In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and chives. Stir until well mixed.
  5. Slice the Italian bread loaf lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  6. Hollow out some of the insides to create space for the filling.
  7. Spoon the chicken mixture into the hollowed-out loaf generously.
  8. Place in the prepared baking dish and cover loosely with foil. Bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
