- 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
Instructions
- For the Crust: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an ungreased baking dish.
- For the Filling: In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix until silky-smooth.
- Gently fold in whipped topping until fully blended.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust evenly.
- Add a layer of fresh cherries before repeating with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
- For the Topping: Spread cherry pie filling over the top layer. Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.
