- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and granulated sugar. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix chopped cherries with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Spread cherry filling evenly over the crust.
- In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, and cold butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping over cherry filling evenly.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing into bars.
