- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
Instructions
- Pound chicken breasts to about half an inch thick. Season with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg wash, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat (about 350°F). Fry each chicken breast for about five minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Spread bang bang sauce generously on burger buns.
- Place crispy chicken on top and add lettuce and sliced tomatoes.
- Drizzle any leftover sauce over the sandwich before serving.
