Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha (adjust for spice level)
  • Taco shells (soft tortillas or crunchy shells)
  • Fresh vegetables (lettuce, avocado, cabbage)
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up a breading station: In one bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper; in a second bowl, place beaten eggs; in a third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and paprika.
  3. Coat each shrimp by first dipping it in flour, then in egg, and finally rolling it in panko breadcrumbs until well-coated.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place breaded shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy, shaking halfway through.
  6. Toss cooked shrimp in bang bang sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Fill taco shells with shrimp and top with fresh vegetables. Add a squeeze of lime juice before serving.
