- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp Sriracha (adjust for spice level)
- Taco shells (soft tortillas or crunchy shells)
- Fresh vegetables (lettuce, avocado, cabbage)
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Set up a breading station: In one bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper; in a second bowl, place beaten eggs; in a third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and paprika.
- Coat each shrimp by first dipping it in flour, then in egg, and finally rolling it in panko breadcrumbs until well-coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Place breaded shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy, shaking halfway through.
- Toss cooked shrimp in bang bang sauce until evenly coated.
- Fill taco shells with shrimp and top with fresh vegetables. Add a squeeze of lime juice before serving.
