Description

Indulge in a rich, creamy Eggnog Panna Cotta topped with light nutmeg whipped cream—a festive dessert that will elevate your holiday gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl. Let it sit for about five minutes to soften.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and eggnog. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the softened gelatin until completely dissolved.
  4. Pour the mixture into serving cups or molds. Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight until set.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  6. Gently fold in freshly grated nutmeg for added flavor.
  7. Once set, gently unmold (if using molds) or serve directly from cups topped generously with nutmeg whipped cream.
