Description

Crockpot Chicken and Gravy is a heartwarming dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy gravy, perfect for busy nights or cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.52 lbs)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • Fresh ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the boneless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion soup mix, and soy sauce until smooth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Add fresh ground pepper generously on top. Optionally, add garlic powder for extra flavor.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  5. Once cooked through, remove the chicken and shred it using two forks. Return shredded chicken to the gravy and mix well.
  6. Serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice with extra gravy drizzled on top.
