- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5–2 lbs)
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- Fresh ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the boneless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
- In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion soup mix, and soy sauce until smooth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Add fresh ground pepper generously on top. Optionally, add garlic powder for extra flavor.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Once cooked through, remove the chicken and shred it using two forks. Return shredded chicken to the gravy and mix well.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice with extra gravy drizzled on top.
