- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking dish by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the fresh green beans over the chicken. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder on top.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and honey until well combined.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and green beans. Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Remove foil during the last few minutes for a golden finish. Serve warm.
