  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking dish by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Drizzle with olive oil and massage the seasonings into the chicken.
  3. In a separate bowl, toss fresh green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. Place seasoned chicken breasts in the baking dish and arrange green beans around them.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and lemon juice. Pour over chicken and green beans evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
