- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by gathering ingredients and tools.
- Season both sides of each flounder fillet with salt and pepper.
- Place flour in a shallow dish and dredge each seasoned fillet on both sides, shaking off excess flour.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat until bubbly but not browned.
- Carefully add the dredged flounder fillets to the skillet. Cook for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the cooked flounder from the skillet and keep warm on a plate.
- Add minced garlic to the remaining butter in the skillet and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Squeeze in fresh lemon juice and stir well.
- Transfer crispy flounder to plates and drizzle lemon-butter sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
